3 Self Help Adwords CTR Improvement Tips and Techniques

Running adwords campaign on a very competitive market could be daunting at times. If you have been running adwords yourself for a while and are receiving terrible results , this self help tutorial is just for you.

1) Use Price in your ads.

If you are selling a product and probably have the lowest price in the market ; this is definitely a good way to increase your CTR and also sales. We have been doing this for a while and certainly noticed jump in number of clicks and the price we pay for each click.

Make sure that you have absolutely relative content in your pages before setting up adwords campaigns to them. If you have a page that has just a few lines with a lot of images you are going to rank low.

If too many people are already using prices in their ads , it is a good idea to actually use some other tricks to get noticed.

2) Use Symbols in your ads.

This one is known and widely tested by adwords community. Using trademarks and registered symbols can dramatically increase your CTR.You nay have notices some of the ads displaying the following symbols.

  • Trademark symbol ™ – Alt + 0153
  • Copyright symbol © Alt +  0169
  • Registered trademark symbol ® Alt + 0174

You can set them up using the keys shown next to each symbol in your ad.

3) Using Mathematical expressions in your Ads

This one is new and not widely used or tested. We have had tremendous success using this process both with our campaign and our clients.

You can do a search for “seo” in google and see what we are talking about.
